Moverim is pleased to announce the final conference of the e-SAFE project, entitled “Enabling Replication: Integrated Renovation for Adaptive and Resilient Buildings”, which will take place on September 23, 2025, at the BIP Meeting Centre in Brussels.
This highly anticipated event marks the culmination of five years of innovative work supported by the European Union’s Horizon 2020 programme. Since its launch in 2020, the e-SAFE project has developed a pioneering deep renovation solution that integrates energy efficiency, seismic resilience, circular economy principles, and a renewed architectural identity, all within a socially and financially sustainable framework.
Within the e-SAFE project, Moverim played a central role in defining and implementing communication, dissemination, and training strategies, ensuring effective results outreach and active stakeholder engagement across Europe. Thanks to its expertise, Moverim contributed to enhancing the project’s impact and promoting its visibility to a wide and diverse audience. Moreover, Moverim will continue to be part of the e-SAFE EEIG (European Economic Interest Grouping), a European partnership created to replicate and scale up the project’s results beyond its completion.
The conference will bring together European and national policymakers, researchers, and building sector professionals to discuss how emerging legislative and financial tools—such as the Energy Performance of Buildings Directive (EPBD)—can support integrated renovation strategies across Europe.
Participants will also hear firsthand accounts from the e-SAFE pilot projects in Catania (Italy), Timișoara, and Bucharest (Romania), which have demonstrated the effectiveness and tangible impact of the project’s multidisciplinary and participatory approach.
In addition to the presentation of e-SAFE results, the conference will feature clustering sessions with other projects focused on energy efficiency, seismic safety, and environmental sustainability—offering a unique platform for the exchange of best practices, the creation of synergies, and the exploration of replication opportunities.
